Becca X Chrissy Teigen Glow Face Palette Review

Hey everyone and welcome to day 10 of my review challenge. When I starting time saw that today'due south review was supposed to be of a palette, of course my showtime thought was to review an eyeshadow palette. Notwithstanding, the Becca X Chrissy Teigen Glow Confront Palette has admittedly been my favourite "palette" of the year so far. So instead, I decided to review this.

Packaging and First Impressions

The packaging of this confront palette is like none other. It both looks and feels luxurious. When I beginning saw information technology advertised, the packaging alone fabricated me know that I HAD to go it!! The front has rose-coloured marble with the gold metallic writing and the back and the within of the palette have a shiny metallic cool pinkish finish. The palette has a proficient weight to it likewise.

Price and Quantity

This palette is limited edition and is priced at $56 CAD ($46 USD) and comes with ii highlighters, 1 bronzer, and one chroma. The highlighter pans are the biggest, with 5.ane grams (0.18 oz), while the bronzer and blush have 2.iv grams (0.085 oz) of product. I really think this pan organization is a bit bizarre, with having larger pans for the highlighters than for the bronzer and blush. However, I guess this palette is supposed to be all most that glow!

For me it's a little difficult to think of comparative products that are still available for purchase. Smashbox does have the Fifty.A. Lights Blush & Highlight palettes which go for $forty CAD ($35 USD), that have 2 blushes (0.2 oz each) and one highlighter (0.i oz). There is besides the Illume Sheer Colour Trio by Hourglass, priced at $75 CAD ($62 USD) which has a blush (0.21 oz), bronzer (0.21 oz) and highlight (0.17 oz). However, the products in this trio are cream-satin based. In that location is also the Sweet Peach Glow Highlighting Palette, which is priced at $52 CAD ($42 USD), and has one bronzer (0.ten oz), one blush (0.19 oz) and 1 highlight (0.10 oz). This product hasn't done that well in terms of reviews though, with a lot of people saying that each pulverisation inside is too sparkly. Clearly you can see that some of these palettes are meliorate deals than others, however what you buy will obviously depend on what type of products you are looking for. Practise yous want a bronzer in the palette or does that not thing to you? Then maybe try out one of the smashbox palettes. If having a bronzer included is important to you, and so I would definitely propose the Becca 10 Chrissy Teigen palette.

This palette is besides formulated without sulfates. Becca is a cruelty complimentary company, withal they were but caused by Estee Lauder which is NOT cruelty free.

Pigmentation and Performance

The two highlighters are admittedly stunning. I think almost people agree that Becca's highlighter formula is ane of the all-time out there. Embankment Nectar is a beautiful light bully shade that would work on the majority of pare tones. Rose Gold looks absolutely astonishing on deeper skin tones. I love to wear information technology when I am tanned! If either of these shades don't expect quite right as a highlighter on y'all, clothing them as eyeshadow! They add an astonishing shine to the eye.

My favourite part of this palette is the Malibu Soleil bronzer, information technology is the perfect tone. It is neutral with a chip of warmth. I love to use this to make my peel look more than alive. I will definitely be looking for some other bronzer that has a similar tone when I run out of this one! This is definitely the production that I take used the most in my palette, besides bad it is in the smaller pan size 😭.

To be honest, I haven't worn the Hibiscus Bloom blush a lot. It looks fine on my cheeks, but it isn't my favourite tone on myself. I also haven't tried this blush when I am not tanned, and I may like it better at that point.

These products all apply very smoothly and alloy really nicely. I would non describe any of them as overly powdery. The highlighters have the best pigment, whereas the bronzer and chroma are the tiniest bit more than muted. This is skilful, since you want to be able to build up your bronzer and blush, and non get overboard with one swipe. All the same, because of the colour of the chroma, I would nonetheless be careful with that one. All of the products in this palette last all day when you wear them, at least 10 hours. I am very happy with their lasting power.

Last Thoughts

I love this palette and I am very lamentable that it is LE. However, I will probably be able to find a close dupe of my favourite part, the bronzer. I also can't see myself running out of these highlighters any time soon, or the blush. I accept and so many highlighters and blushes to use that information technology volition have me a long time to go through these. I am hoping that the bronzer Bronzed Bondi in the Sunlit Bronzer line by Becca volition be a close dupe to this Malibu Soleil. So I might choice that one up when I run out of this one.
